Fieldwork Journal

When I first started volunteering at SPCA, I felt confident because the tasks didn’t seem too difficult and the staff were very kind. During my fieldwork, I learned new things about cats and how to take care of them. Sometimes I felt nervous, but my coworkers were always helpful, so I could ask questions easily and felt more comfortable. The animals at SPCA were adorable and friendly, and talking with people there helped me feel more confident. Overall, I enjoyed the experience, and I would recommend it to others because spending time with the animals was meaningful and fun.
